A training workshop on draft Government Finance Statistics Manual (GFSM), 2014 and Budget & Accounts Classification System was held in the office of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) on 16th October, 2014. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Janis Platais, IMF GFS Advisor. This was attended by Mr. Md. Abul Kashem, Controller General of Accounts with senior officials of CGA including 20 Chief Accounts Officers (CAOs) of various Ministries. The issues related to the practical implementation of GFSM were presented during the workshop. There was interactive participation from the participants which immensely benefitted them.
